As I reflect on 2013, it was a busy year. Personally, I went on several trips: Georgia and Florida in May, Cincinnati for the Southern & Western Open in August, a road trip to several stops in Pennsylvania in September, and Chicago for the full holiday experience in December. I also participated in a mentorship program thru Michigan Council of Women in Technology (MCWT).
At Walsh, it was a great year. Here are a few highlights from the Student Network activities:
The Student Life committee hosted our first--ever Oktoberfest a great event that attracted 230 faculty, staff, students and alums! It was a free event that included live music, beer, wine, food and networking. Photos are posted online.
This event continues to grow each winter and fall semester its held. This binder will be given out at the winter welcome week. Be sure to stop by one of the campuses between 5-6 p.m. on January 8-9 and 13-14.
