Professors Matthew Wirgau and Louise August will be hosting an information session for all students interested in participating in this year's ACG Cup on Tuesday, November 12 from 5:00 - 6:00 p.m.  Students participating in the competition must be at the graduate level, and registered for the winter semester.

The ACG Detroit Cup is a mergers and acquisitions case study, where teams of three students must develop solutions to their case, and present their findings to a panel of judges from the Association for Corporate Growth (ACG) Detroit Chapter. Students who participate gain invaluable feedback from judges, expand networks, and compete for scholarships.

In addition, the winning Walsh team will advance to compete against teams from schools that include the Eli Broad College of Business at Michigan State University; the Stephen M. Ross School of Business at the University of Michigan; the University of Detroit Mercy College of Business Administration; the University of Michigan-Flint School of Management; and the Wayne State University School of Business Administration.

In the six years of the competition, no Walsh College team has finished lower than second place.  Walsh College is the winner of the 2013, 2011 and 2008 ACG Detroit Cups, and placed second in 2012, 2010 and 2009.
