Each job holds the key to a bright future, for the right candidate. Earning a degree from a college with a reputation for excellence is a vital first step on the path to success.

The Walsh College Bachelor of Business Administration in General Business (BBA-GB) degree allows students to capitalize on options, aptitude and opportunity while they are building the skill base necessary to open the door to success. With extensive coursework in accounting, economics, finance and communication, this program prepares students for a wide range of careers including, purchasing agent, customer service manager, supervisor, or sales manager.

The Walsh College business degree is uniquely customizable. After completing the required BBA courses, students may choose elective courses from any 300 or 400 level class the college offers. Some students take a variety of courses while others specialize in one area – such as information technology, or marketing. This flexibility allows students to make the most of any previous college credit while allowing them to pursue knowledge within their individualized interests.

Equivalency guides outline the courses transferable to Walsh as prerequisites to advanced course work and for completion of degree requirements.

Opportunities for Employment
General business graduates work in a variety of industries – from banking to information technology to human resources. The opportunities for employment vary significantly. However, the Walsh College BBA in general business delivers the skills necessary for students to move forward in their careers – whether it’s a promotion, a new job, or a total career change.

Salary Expectations
Starting salaries for students graduating with bachelor’s degrees in general business range from $33,000 per year to $43,600 per year. With six or more years of experience salary ranges increase to $50,000 to $88,000 per year. Salaries vary greatly depending on each graduates place of employment and particular career path.

Program Format
Earning a Bachelor of Business Administration degree in General Business from Walsh College requires a total of 127 semester credit hours. This includes the transfer of up to 82 credit hours and a minimum of 45 credit hours (15 courses) taken while in residence at Walsh College. The general business program requires completion of all courses in the

The * courses at the right are typically transferred from a community college or another accredited educational institution. Additional transfer equivalencies may be established depending on the courses taken and the transfer tuition.

**COM 300 is required of all students who score below 4 on the Walsh College communications placement exam.
