Facebook for Kids

Facebook is considering allowing children to have Facebook pages  under a parent's account.  The logic behind this strategy is that tweens already have accounts that parents don't know about. This would allow more supervision by parents.  Tweens wouldn't have to create accounts illegally, behind their parents' backs..  The organization, WebWise Kids, http://www.webwisekids.org/ supports this strategy as long as children have some education on the dangers of the web.

!. Do you support this idea?
2. Would you allow your tween to create a Facebook account?
3. Would you require your tween to go through the safe web trainng on Webwise kids?
4. Would you colunteer to teach other parents and tweens about web safety?
