Walsh College Library is encouraging financial literacy April 20-27, which has been designated Money Smart Week by the Federal Reserve Bank of Chicago and the American Library Association. The Walsh Library is one of many institutions that will be promoting personal financial education during Smart Money Week. We’ll be sponsoring two speakers who’ll discuss personal finances:
On Tuesday, April 23, John A. Moore, PhD, CPA, Associate Professor of Finance and Economics, will give a presentation on the “Basics of Portfolio Management and Investing.” Dr. Moore is a frequent radio and television guest regarding the economy, stock market, Federal Reserve, real estate, and other topics.
