About the Speaker:
Anne Doyle has been on the front lines and the battle lines of women's progrss for nearly four decades. She began her career as a pioneering TV News and then TV Sports broadcaster in the 1970s and 80s. She then moved to the corporate world, rising through the ranks at Ford Motor Company. She was the head of North America Communications during the Ford Explorer/Firestone Crisis, and was named one of the "100 Leading Women in the Auto Industry". She is also a single mom who took an early retirement from the corporate fast track to re-invent herself again when her son was 11. That's when she began working on her recently-released book, Powering Up! How America's Women Achievers Become Leaders.
