    Biography
    Rick Foytek has worked in the financial services industry for over 15 years.  The majority of his career has been spent managing investment portfolios for both successful families and organizations.  He also has many years of expertise researching and analyzing investments. 

    Prof. Foytek has held the positions of trust analyst, investment analyst, portfolio manager, financial advisor, senior investment strategist, and chief investment officer.  He has worked for regional banks, accounting firms, and investment counseling firms. 

    He has written a monthly column in the Lansing State Journal; was a guest host on the Rick Bloom Show on AM 1400 WDTK, and has appeared on Channel 7 news as a financial markets expert.

    Prof. Foytek has earned the prestigious Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) designation from the CFA Institute.  The CFA designation is globally recognized and attests to a charterholder’s success in a rigorous and comprehensive study program in the field of investment management and research analysis.
