Biography
Mr. Lipiec has more than eight years of experience in professional accounting, five of which were in public accounting. His background includes auditing, tax compliance, treasury operations, and financial forecasting, and work in the fields of manufacturing and distribution, retail and restaurant operations, and professional service companies. He also has experience with Chapter 11 bankruptcy proceedings.
Mr. Lipiec’s teaching experience includes having taught several semesters of financial and intermediate accounting at Walsh College, several semesters of accounting principles at Oakland Community College (Auburn Hills), and more than five years conducting intermediate accounting labs, also at Walsh College.
In addition to his professional accounting career, Mr. Lipiec spent seven years on active duty in the U.S. Navy as a designated naval aircrewman (helicopters) and Enlisted Aviation Warfare Specialist with multiple overseas deployments. His personal interests include music, travel, and aviation.
