Walsh College Tax Institute Conference
The Walsh College Tax Institute will be hosting a one-day conference on various federal tax subjects, which has been rescheduled from the original date of Friday, June 7, 2013.  The conference will now be scheduled for Thursday, September 26, 2013 at the Troy campus from 8:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m..

There will be a $50 cost to attend, which will include a hot breakfast, a book containing each of the presenting papers, and eligibility to receive CPE credit, including 2 hours of tax ethics and professional responsibility.

CALL FOR PAPERS
The Walsh Tax Institute is seeking papers to be presented at the September 26, 2013 conference. Paper submissions may be on any federal tax topic that would be of interest to the professional tax community.  Topic and an outline should be submitted electronically no later than June 14, 2013, to Prof. Dan Hoops at dhoops@walshcollege.edu. Inquiries may be directed to Prof. Hoops at (248) 823-1334.  Final papers will be due in July.
