  • William M. Greshak, JD, CFE, CMA, is an Associate Professor in the Finance and Economics Department of Walsh College. Greshak began his teaching career at Walsh in 1993 before relocating out-of-state in 1998 and returning to Walsh in 2010. His primary instructional responsibilities have included both undergraduate and graduate courses. Courses taught, include, financial modeling, financial markets and institutions, financial management, financial statement analysis, and capstone corporate case studies.

    Greshak also brings 15 years of professional experience, including consulting with businesses for a wide array of financial issues, including, forensic accounting, budgets, projections, corporate valuations, internal investigations, mergers and acquisitions, industry/performance trends, fraud detection and deterrence, and internal controls covering a wide range of industries. In addition, he has also served as a state prosecutor where Greshak prosecuted both misdemeanor and felony fraud violations in district, as well as circuit court.

    Greshak earned his Juris Doctor from the Wayne State University School of Law in 1993 (which included a semester abroad in Russia and Poland studying international law), Masters in the Science of Finance (MSF) from Walsh College in 1992, and his Bachelors of Business Administration (BBA) from Walsh College in 1989. He is a member of the Michigan Bar and is both a Certified Fraud Examiner (CFE) and a Certified Management Accountant (CMA).
