Join Walsh College for an information session offering relevant information and unique networking opportunities for accounting students. Topics will include:

 

  • CPA Exam information, including preparation methods, timing of sections, timing of application, and the January 2011 changes
  • CPA/CMA/CIA/CFP/and other certifications
  • Career choices: CPA firms, corporate accounting, nonprofit accounting, managerial accounting
  • Resume and cover letter strategies
  • Study skills and exam-taking techniques
  • Accounting Volunteer Club activities 
  • Review of Walsh Accounting curriculum course content and course sequencing
