Class of 1994
Brendan G. Dunleavy, CPA, executive director at Michigan Financial Companies- Dunleavy Wealth Management, was recognized as one of the top ten financial professionals nationwide by John Hancock Financial Network (JHFN). As a recipient of the Achieving Client Excellence award, Dunleavy joins nine other top representatives to participate in JHFN’s advisory group, the President’s Roundtable. A resident of Plymouth, Dunleavy’s record of excellence began with his position as Wayne County Auditor General when he was recognized by Crain’s Detroit Business Magazine as one of the “Top 40 Under 40” in 1999. He has also been recognized for the last 4 years in Hour Detroit as a 5 Star Wealth Manager* and as the Most Valuable Advisor for Michigan Financial Companies for 3 of the last 4 years. He earned his Master of Finance from Walsh College in 1994.
Class of 1985
Altair announced the appointment of veteran financial executive Howard Morof as the company’s chief financial officer. Morof has served on the Altair board of directors for the past two years and has extensive experience with high-growth companies as well as expertise in capital markets, mergers, acquisitions, and joint ventures. As chief financial officer Morof will be responsible for Altair’s global corporate financial strategy. Morof will further build on Altair’s consistent record of annual growth throughout its 27-year history. Morof joins Altair after five years as chief financial officer of North American Bancard. Morof is a certified public accountant, having earned his Master of Science in Taxation at Walsh College in 1985.
Class of 1978
Gregory Kosmatka was elected to the National Board of Directors for the Classic Car Club of America. The Classic Car Club of America (CCCA) is about vintage automobiles and the pleasure of the sport. Since its beginning in 1952, the members of the CCCA has been dedicated to the collection, preservation, and enjoyment of the world’s finest cars. Kosmatka graduated from Walsh College with a Bachelor of Accountancy degree in 1978.
