Class of 2009
Brian D. Renner was selected to be IT Officer for Novi City Council Candidate Jason Montville. Renner will be responsible for the campaign's digital marketing presence, including website development/management and social media communications. Renner has over 14 years of digital marketing experience as the founder and manager of the popular film/entertainment website, MovieInsider.com. He earned his MBA from Walsh College in 2009.
Class of 2000
Daniel Alleman joined Schlaupitz & Madhavan, PLLC as an Accounting and Audit Manager. With over 14 years of experience in public accounting, his specialties are audit and assurance services along with traditional CPA services including accounting, consulting and tax. Schlaupitz and Madhavan, PLLC is a full service CPA firm working with privately-held businesses and not-for-profit organizations, from start-up and early growth through mature phases including succession planning. Alleman graduated from Walsh College with a Bachelor of Accountancy in 2000.

Derek Edwards was named vice president, Invest Detroit, from vice president, senior business banker, Huntington National Bank. Edwards earned his MSF degree from Walsh College in 1999.

Smart Devine, the full-service accounting, tax and advisory firm, announces that it has hired Bill Kuhlman as a Managing Director in their Research & Development (R&D) Tax Consulting practice. Kuhlman has 25 years of progressive tax experience and over 17 years of R&D tax credit specialization. Bill earned his Master of Science in Finance from Walsh College in 1992.
Class of 1989
Patrick Steele recently joined Billhighway as a Senior Net Developer. Steele has 20 years’ experience as an IT professional with extensive application and software development knowledge of Net and Microsoft technologies. He was most recently employed with SRT Solutions as a Senior Developer/Architect, where he worked on web-based applications for various clients in the automotive and insurance industries. Steele is an accomplished speaker and published technical author. He graduated from Walsh College with a BBA in Computer Information Systems in 1989.

Joanne Cresap joined PwC's Cincinnati, Ohio office, where she will focus on the international tax needs of the firm's clients in Oklahoma, while also remaining a strategic advisor to companies in Missouri and Nebraska. She has more than 20 years of international tax experience advising multinational companies on all aspects of conducting business in a global economy. Cresap also has an extensive background in developing U.S. and foreign tax strategies with respect to acquisitions and dispositions, both domestic and international. She received a Bachelor of Accountancy and Business Administration from Walsh College in 1983.
