Class of 2013

Melina Jakupovic has joined Comerica Bank as the officer of eCommerce Administration. Melina received both her Bachelor of Business Administration in 2009 and her Master of Business Administration from Walsh College in 2013.

Selena PassenoClass of 2011

Selena Passeno is the new president at the Village of New Haven after voters recalled the previous president. Selena served as the treasurer for the Village and was responsible for recovery and maintenance of village financial assets. She received her Bachelor of Business Administration from Walsh College in 2011.

 LaRon York

LaRon York has joined PricewaterhouseCoopers as a senior associate within the Financial Services Assurance Sector in Washington, DC. LaRon received his Bachelor of Accountancy from Walsh College in 2011.

Class of 2010

Amber Carden has joined Plante Moran as the marketing coordinator, Commercial Industries. Amber received her Bachelor of Business Administration from Walsh College in 2010.

Scott RiceClass of 2004

The Walsh College Board of Trustees has elected Scott Rice to a three-year term on the Walsh College Foundation Board of Directors. Scott Rice is the chief operating officer at Powerlink, a Detroit-based staffing, facilities management, and construction company. He earned his Bachelor of Business Administration from Walsh College in 2004.

Class of 2003

Willie Brooks, Jr. was named executive director of the Oakland County Community Mental Health Authority. Willie worked previously as the authority’s CFO. He received his Master of Science in Finance in 2001 and his Master of Arts in Economics in 2003 from Walsh College.

Class of 1999

Bob WaunCORE Partners welcomes Bob Waun, Jr. as vice president of Business Development. Bob serves in an executive leadership capacity for the firm, heads business development for the company, and is responsible for the continued growth for all of the firm’s service platforms. He received his Bachelor of Business Administration in 1992 and his Master of Science in Finance in 1999 from Walsh College.

Class of 1988

EY recently announced that Alliance Franchise Brands CEO Mike Marcantonio is a finalist for the EY Entrepreneur of the Year™ 2014 Award in the Michigan and Northwest Ohio Region. The awards program recognizes entrepreneurs who demonstrate excellence and extraordinary success in such areas as innovation, financial performance, and personal commitment to their businesses and communities. Mike was selected as a finalist from more than 50 nominations by a panel of independent judges. Award winners will be announced at a special gala event on June 5 at the MGM Grand Detroit. Mike received his Bachelor of Accountancy from Walsh College in 1988.
