Mark Albrecht joined Orlans as their Human Resources Senior Director. Mark earned his MSSL at Walsh College in 2011.

Robert Mauch has joined Lennar’s Coastal Carolinas division. Mauch is the Division Controller based in the West Ashley office. He has 12 years of experience in residential real estate finance and operations. Previously he was Vice President of finance and division controller with Centex Homes and Pulte Homes. Mauch earned his MBA from Walsh College in 2005.

Terri Washburn joins Walsh College faculty, effective immediately, transitioning from her prior responsibilities as Assistant Vice President and Dean of Academic Technology. Dr. Washburn holds a B.B.A (Management), M.S. in Management (e-Marketing), and PhD. in Organizations and Management. Dr. Washburn joined Walsh College in 2003. For the past seven years, she has been responsible for a host of administrative tasks including student disciplinary issues, academic misconduct and grade appeals for the college. Most recently, she oversaw the conversion and implementation of the College’s previous learning management system to the Moodle system. Dr. Washburn is a 20-year veteran of corporate Information Technology, and has managed both local and international work teams. Her experience centers upon systems analysis, project management, the development of work teams, and management/leadership development, and she has established a broad publication portfolio in those areas.
Maria Montie, CPA, CVA, CFFA, MST, has been named to Accounting Today’s 2013 “MP Elite” list, which recognizes the country's best accounting firm leaders from firms of all sizes, and highlights the skills and strategies it takes to lead an organization to success in the 21st century. Montie, managing partner of ShindelRock in Novi, Mich., is one of the first three women to be honored by the magazine. She earned her Master of Science in Taxation from Walsh College in 2003.

Ioana Ben-Ezra, Chief Compliance Officer and Corporate Controller, Diversified Restaurant Holdings Inc., earned a Crain’s Detroit Business “40 under 40” award for handling the company’s complex public reporting requirements as it went through a second public offering and opened new restaurants. Ben-Ezra earned her Bachelor in Accounting from Walsh College in 2002.

Health Alliance Plan (HAP) announces the appointment of Annette Marcath as Vice President, Information Technology and Chief Information Officer. Marcath is a certified project management professional, member of PMI (Project Management Institute) and earned her Bachelor degree in Finance from Walsh College in 1991.
