Brian Pilarski, MSM, Immediate Past President
Walsh College Alumni Association

As my farewell address, I would like to look forward and not backward. The excitement and opportunity for our alumni to become involved with Walsh College is better than ever. Carrying over great momentum from Walsh’s first-ever Homecoming Celebration, and celebrating 90 years of providing quality education, 2012-2013 provides some of the best opportunities to date to become involved.

New Leaders for WCAA

The Walsh College Alumni Association (WCAA) has elected its new leadership for the Board of Directors. I would like to personally welcome our new leaders and wish them great success as they lead the WCAA into the New Year. Beginning as new President of the WCAA Board of Directors is Alex Schwallbach, owner & entrepreneur, who is entering his fourth year on the Board of Directors. The Board leadership team also elected Paul Nobels to the post of Vice President. Paul is a financial professional also entering his fourth year on the board.   Serving as our Treasurer, Stephanie Comptosis brings a great depth of experience and many years of dedication to the Board. Finally, serving as the Secretary of the Board is Cindy Kot, who is entering her sixth year of service. On behalf of the entire alumni, we thank you for your leadership.

Call to Action

The Walsh College Alumni Association is a non-profit, social, charitable, educational, and philanthropic organization. The WCAA’s purpose and intent is to further the bonds of the alumni of Walsh College through fellowship and collegiality.

How do you become a member? You are already a member! Upon graduation you are automatically enrolled in the WCAA.

You’re invited to our October Networking & Learning Series at the Novi Campus. Hear from Shorts Brewing Company’s CFO and sample their product, all at no cost.

We also hope you will contact the Board and join the WCAA meetings. There are committees and other ways to lend support to the Walsh College Alumni Association. walshcollege.edu/wcaa

We will see you soon!
