Mission
The mission of the Assessment Steering Committee is to provide guidance in the design and implementation of the outcomes assessment plan at Walsh College. It is comprised of faculty, administrators, student representatives, alumni, and an external stakeholder. The steering committee reports to the Chief Academic Officer and is chaired by the Assessment Coordinator. The responsibilities of the committee are to:
- Educate faculty, staff, students, and the public on the importance and meaning of assessment.
- Promote a culture of continuous improvement at the institution, program, and course level.
- Promote discussion on assessment activities and initiatives.
- Communicate assessment efforts to faculty, staff, students, and the public.
- Provide continuous support and review on the administration, data collection, and reporting of outcomes assessment.
