The Walsh Business Leadership Institute offers educational programs to increase the success and sustainability of Michigan's small and family businesses. Members and sponsors of the BLI learn from one another in Affinity Groups, from experts in Hot Topics Workshops and from role models at Michigan Business Success Story events.
Members of the Walsh Business Leadership Institute find the educational programs help them in reaching their goals. If you’d like to explore membership or new educational programs, contact Jan Hubbard at 248-823-1392 or jhubbard@walshcollege.edu.
B2B Networking Breakfasts
Join us on the fourth Tuesday of the month, when the Walsh College Alumni Association and BLI will host a B2B networking breakfast from 7:15 - 8:30 a.m. in the dining room/cafeteria. The monthly breakfasts are designed to offer business owners, business development professionals and sales people the opportunity to meet potential new customers, gain referrals, and build a contact list. "We recognized the need for maximum exposure in this dramatic economic downturn, so our alma mater is the best place to turn - where we live and breathe business," said Alumni Association President Mike Pircer, whose firm, MAP Business Solutions is a sponsor of the BLI.
While the networking breakfasts are open to the public, only working business people are invited. Walsh alumni, BLI members and sponsors are complimentary guests, others may pay $5 to attend. Business card and brochure exchange only, displays are reserved for sponsors. Interested in sponsoring next month's breakfast? The cost is only $200 and you'll have the opportunity to address the group and have an information table. Contact Rebecca Geisler at rgeisler@walshcollege.edu.
