The Doctorate of Management in Executive Leadership (DM) degree is designed to shape candidates’ human capital to function effectively in leadership positions typically found in the “Boardroom” and serve the profession by engaging in applied research. The DM is structured to provide graduates with the necessary leadership skills and advanced knowledge necessary to guide both public and private organizations successfully through complex global markets.

The program is 60 semester hours: 48 semester hours from courses and 12 dissertation semester hour credits. All courses are three semester hours. Course work is expected to be completed in eight consecutive semesters for two years with a possible extension of one year. The dissertation is expected to be completed in four consecutive semesters for one year with a possible one year extension. There will be both written and oral qualifying examinations prior to the dissertation phase.
