Biography
Ms. Saurbier has 12 years of experience in various financial management positions. She was employed with Wayne State University (1992-1998) in the Office of University Budget, ultimately serving as the Budget Development Manager. She also was employed with the law firm of Dickenson, Wright, Moon, VanDusen & Freeman, where she served as an Accounting Analyst (1987-1990) and later as the Supervisor for Information Systems (1990-1992). Prior to that, she was a Cost Accountant and Budget Analyst at both Holley Automotive and Vixen Motor Company.
In the area of instruction, Ms. Saurbier has been teaching in the Management and Marketing Department since 1996 and has experience teaching at the undergraduate level, where she has taught Introduction to Management, Organizational Behavior and Organizational Management as well as currently teaching Organizational Leadership both on-ground and on-line. She additionally teaches Managing People and Organizations online at the graduate level.
