Biography
Mr. Rinkus has been with Walsh College since 1985. During that time he has taught undergraduate and graduate courses in International Finance, Financial Institutions and Capital Markets, Financial Statement Analysis and International Management, including the creation and implementation of a graduate class in International Trade Financing Techniques.
Mr. Rinkus is presently Group Manager of the Trade Finance area of Comerica Bank. Mr. Rinkus manages over 20 Trade finance lenders, product Managers and Product Support colleagues in the Midwest, California and Texas. The Trade Finance Group assists companies in assessing their political/sovereign risk, cross border payment risk and financing issues in the global marketplace.
Mr. Rinkus has written several articles on International Trade for professional publications, and most recently was appointed to the board of the International Financial Services Association (IFSA). Mr. Rinkus is also a member of the Bankers Association for Finance and Trade (BAFT), and is Past President of the Institute of Management Accountants, Detroit Chapter
