Professor Todd earned his Master of Arts from Wayne State University, his Master of Science in Finance from Walsh College and his Bachelor of Science from Western Michigan University. He is a Certified Management Accountant (CMA) and the former vice president of finance for a Detroit area tier-one automotive supplier. Professor Todd served as adjunct faculty at WSU of Life-Long Learning and Walsh College from 1991 to 1999. Professor Todd teaches courses in financial management, and financial markets and institutions in the Walsh College BBA, MBA, and MSF programs. Along with his teaching and administrative responsibilities, he serves on a number of college committees and is a former President of the Faculty Senate.
His professional activities include the Institute of Management Accountants and is also a member of the Curriculum Advisory Counsel for the Detroit College of Business. His primary academic interests are stakeholder value theory, monetary policy, and the U.S. financial crisis. He also has an abiding interest in historical studies and has taught Medieval History at Wayne State University.
