Sometimes it’s difficult to come up with gift ideas for the one or two people on your list. They either have everything they need or are just plain picky. I’m sure you’ve heard of Oprah’s “Favorite Things." This year I decided to come up with my own Favorite Things list – Walsh products that I can’t live without. If you’re stumped to figure out what to get someone special this holiday season, keep reading. You may find something on this list that will inspire you. Here are a few of my favorites:
You will always see me wearing a sweatshirt at some point during the weekend, and for every trip I have a Walsh sweatshirt packed in my luggage.
This particular hoodie is in my favorite color: Purple. It retails at $39.98 +tax, but the bookstore currently has a sale on all sweats thru December 15! Hoodies, sweatpants, and sweatshirts are 25% off. It is a very practical gift for this time of year. Include a pair of fuzzy slipper socks that can be used while snuggled up reading a book or watching a favorite holiday movie.
On the days I get a little chilly, I grab a cup of hot tea... which is always in a Walsh mug. The one I currently use is a few years old.
This travel mug is currently sold in the bookstore for $14.98 +tax. It is easy to grab and go - to the office or classroom without spilling. It's a simple and inexpensive gift which can be personalized for the recipient. Include a gift card to their favorite coffee house. Or purchase their preferred tea/coffee/hot chocolate from the local grocery store. Be sure to include a candy cane!
I LOVE this! You will likely see me carrying this to every meeting on campus, nonprofit committee meetings, and conferences. It has pockets to put business cards, a slot for miscellaneous paper, a pen holder and a pad of paper.
The bookstore currently doesn't sell this. However, once you graduate you will be eligible to receive it at the commencement ceremony. Our gift to you for working hard!
What is on your "favorite things" list?
As my gift to you this holiday season, I'm giving away special holiday treats. (Sorry Walsh faculty and staff are not eligible for this prize.) The first five people that stop by the Records Office will receive a gift! The office is open M-TH 8:30-6:30 and F 8:30-5.
