Graduate Procedures
Walsh College offers nine graduate programs in business disciplines.
For consideration for admission to a Walsh College graduate degree program and applicant must:
- Possess an undergraduate degree or higher from an college or university accredited by the Higher Learning Commission of the North Central Association of colleges and Schools or one of the following regional associations: Middle States, New England, Northwest, Southern, or Western and
- Have an overall cumulative grade point average of 2.750 or better on a 4.000 scale. Applicants whose grade point average is below 2.750, but not lower than 2.000, may be eligible for admission on a provisional basis.
MSIA applicants must be able to document competency in one of the following ways:
- Possess and undergraduate degree in a computer-related field
- Provide documented competency in the area of computer security with a minimum of one of the following certifications:
- Security+ Certification
- CIW Security Certification
- Network+ Certification
- Microsoft Certification (MCSA, MCSE)
- Novell Certification (CNA, CNE, MCNE)
- Cisco Certification (CCNA, CCNE, CCIE)
- Provide documentation of two years verifiable professional level full-time work experience in network design/development/administration or information assurance.
- Successfully complete BIT 525 Fundamentals of Networks and Telecommunications with a grade of "C" (2.000) or better.
