James Bennett is an adjunct professor of economics and finance at Walsh College. He has been teaching at Walsh for about 20 years, and was a full time faculty member for six years. He holds a B.S. in Finance from the University of Detroit. He also received an MBA from the University of Detroit with a concentration in management, where he was a graduate fellow. James has also taught courses at the University of Michigan-Dearborn.
Mr. Bennett has over 30 years of corporate experience, mainly in the fields of commercial real estate finance and banking. He is currently a Vice President and Asset Manager at Wells Fargo Bank in Birmingham, MI and manages a portfolio of loans that approximates $1 billion. He is a licensed CPA in the State of Michigan, and had prior experience at Price Waterhouse.
