Jeffrey Recor has more than 20 years of management experience providing security services to large, complex clients. He is proficient at creating intellectual property; developing security solutions; successfully selling, managing and delivering complex, multi-million dollar global security projects; and has a history of successful working relationships with security and IT vendors.

As senior manager, Security and Privacy Solutions at Deloitte & Touche, LLP,  Detroit, Recor created several new solutions that drove a large increase in new projects / revenue for the Security & Privacy line of business. He provided content to analysts that resulted in Deloitte obtaining the number one security services ranking among consulting organizations in 2010; led efforts with several GRC vendors to develop product capabilities to assist global client requirements for governance, risk and compliance; and managed or provided subject matter expertise for the largest global GRC projects within Deloitte in the financial services, energy, federal and manufacturing markets.

 

As director of the Walsh College Information Assurance Center (IAC) from 1999 to 2005, Recor created new degree programs and specialized classes covering information assurance within business, accounting, and technology; earned Walsh College the designation as a “Center of Excellence in Information Assurance Education” from the National Security Agency; and created the IAC as a community outreach program to link students with employers and security projects.
