Walsh College Leadership Awards Dinner Raises $120,000 for Scholarship Program
Walsh College was pleased to host 350 alumni and friends at the first annual Walsh College Leadership Awards Dinner on Friday, November 6th at the Royal Park Hotel. At the event Walsh honored business leaders and alumni with the Jeffery W. Barry Award for Educational Excellence & Service Award; the Walsh College Distinguished Alumni Award; the Walsh College Lifetime Service Award; and the Walsh College Distinguished Graduate of the Last Decade Award (for a complete list of award recipients see below).
Guests enjoyed dinner, a silent and live auction. The evening's emcee was Rhonda Walker of WDIV-TV. Most importantly the event raised over $120,000 to support the Jeffery W. Barry Endowed Scholarship and the General Scholarship Fund. Thank you to all sponsors and participants of this year's event.
