The Walsh College Board of Trustees has elected three new members to three-year terms on the Walsh College Foundation Board of Directors: Corporate Vice President of Worldwide Development, McDonald’s Corp, Jerry Schafer of Raleigh, North Carolina; Mike Ziecik, a founding principal and partner in Forum Group in Bloomfield Hills; and Birmingham resident Brian Pilarski from Brown and Brown Insurance Inc.

In collaboration with Oakland County businesses and elected officials, Walsh College will host a free Business Roundtable Breakfast focusing on Michigan’s economy, to be held on Friday, May 17, from 7:30 to 9 a.m. at the Walsh College Novi Campus in Room 502.

Walsh College President Stephanie Bergeron will host Senator Mike Kowall (R-White Lake, 15th District), Oakland County Executive L. Brooks Patterson, Novi Mayor Bob Gatt, as well as members of the public, for an open discussion on the state’s current economic climate.

Michael P. Levens, Ph.D., chair of marketing, information systems, and quantitative methods, and associate professor of marketing at Walsh College, has returned after completing a Fulbright Specialist Fellowship in Riga, Latvia, at the University College of Economics and Culture.
