Nominations are open for the Oakland County Executive’s Elite 40 under 40™ Class of 2017.  L. Brooks Patterson is seeking exceptional individuals under age 40 who are excelling in their fields and improving the quality of life for others.

“The Elite 40 Under 40 represent where Oakland County is headed tomorrow: charging into the knowledge-based economy, providing strong leadership, and engaged in improving the quality of life in our region,” Patterson said.

Crain's 20 in their 20s

dbusiness 30 in Their Thirties

dBusiness magazine, Detroit's Premier Business Journal, is soliciting nominations for business professionals in their thirties who have achieved notable success in their respective field(s). This exciting editorial feature, set to appear in the September/October 2016 issue, will recognize business leaders in metro Detroit who are moving their respective companies, industries, and communities forward.

And sometimes, their efforts can mean the difference between living to fight another day or packing it up and going home.

This award is open to those with the title of CFO or executives who hold duties generally considered to be those handled by a CFO. Recognition categories will include public, private and government/nonprofit and will be segmented by revenue size.

Crain's Detroit Business recognizes the Rising Star financial executives. Budget pressures, increasing red tape, helping with tough strategic decision-making and restructuring companies in difficult times have become more common for the top finance chief. And sometimes, their efforts can mean the difference between living to fight another day or packing it up and going home.

This award will recognize up-and-coming financial executives. CFOs are not eligible, but others in the finance department are. Eligibility includes positions that report to a CFO such as analysts, managers and vice presidents who oversee financial matters – and will likely be a CFO someday.

Crain's Salute to Entrepreneurs

Crain's annually recognizes entrepreneurs who are noteworthy for their innovation, problem-solving ability or sheer relentlessness. Winners are divided into revenue categories, with another for social entrepreneurs and intrapreneurs.
