Business Information Systems Adjunct Faculty (part time)
Doctorate degree in information technology or related field required.  Recent industry experience a must.  Ability to teach online courses desired.  Courses are located in Troy, MI or online. 
Specific course needs include: business requirements analysis, data analytics, business systems design, and collaborative business systems design and development.

 Position: International Student Academic Advisor

Reports to: Assistant Director, Admissions & Academic Advising

FLSA: Exempt

Major Responsibilities:
• Primarily advise new and continuing international students regarding academic programs, admissions, academic progress, graduation requirements, and VISA requirements.
• Determine admission status of applicants, including transfer credit acceptance and student’s requirements to complete the degree or certification. Issue I-20’s.
• Ensure compliance with USCIS regulations and reporting requirements.
• Recruit new students through educational institutions, high schools, employers, and community/business events.
• Conduct presentations to promote the College’s programs.
• Perform ongoing follow-up with prospective and current students to assist in the College’s enrollment initiatives.
• Act as the staff liaison for the international student club.

Minimum Requirements:
• Bachelor degree required.
Professional work experience with USCIS regulations using the Student and Exchange Visitor Information System (SEVIS) required.
• Computer literacy required.
• A minimum of one year customer/student service and/or office experience required, related higher education experience a plus.
• Strong interpersonal and organizational skills with strong attention to detail and a track record of excellent customer service required.
• Experience in public speaking, sales, marketing and/or event planning preferred.
• Understanding of business career options preferred.
• Ability to travel occasionally to other campuses and recruiting events required.
• Must be able to work an average of two early evenings per week, plus an occasional weekend assignment as part of a flexible schedule.
