Position: Part-time Multimedia Associate (approximately 29 hours/week)

Major  Responsibilities:



• Work with instructional designers and faculty to create, modify and/or publish PowerPoint presentations for online delivery and provide guidance on adding Voice-Over narration to presentations.



• Capture and load audio and video for online courses (assisting setup, shooting and editing video, recording and editing audio, file compression, and post production support).



• Assist in the research of technology-aided instruction tools to support learning and keep abreast of technology developments affecting learning in business education.

Major Responsibilities:



• Respond to the needs of faculty, students and staff members.



• Assist in ensuring the cleanliness and security of building and surrounding exterior during the evenings and on weekends.

Position: Part-time Records Evaluator, Records, Registration & Veterans Services

Major Responsibilities:



• Perform preliminary graduation audits to determine student’s progress toward completion of degree or certificate program.



• Perform final graduation audits to determine if student has successfully completed degree or certificate graduation requirements.



• Summarize audit results and communicate to supervisor.



• Correspond with students by letter, e-mail and/or phone regarding progress toward completion of degree or certificate requirements.



• Assist in servicing students which includes explanation of academic programs and requirements and assisting with problem resolution.



• Input data and run processes in computer databases.

• Provide a wide range of records and registration services to students by phone, fax, email or in person.



• Process registrations, add/drops, withdrawals and student record changes; assist in registration problem resolution and notification of cancelled classes.



• Scan and file departmental documents using document imaging system.

• Manage and be accountable for services at the Novi Campus, including admissions, advising, registration, and faculty support. Coordinate services managed by other departments, including career services, financial aid, bookstore, facilities, library, and technology.



• Develop and execute Novi Campus plan which includes enrollment initiatives, student recruitment, corporate visitation goals and community outreach. Ensure coordination of plan with other departments.

   Position: Payroll Coordinator

Major Responsibilities:  Ÿ

  • Independently perform all in-house payroll related functions in an accurate and timely manner.
  • Process bi-weekly and monthly payrolls for faculty, administrative, and temporary employees.
  • Calculate, verify and input hours and overtime; perform balancing and reconciliations.
  • Maintain time and attendance records.
  • Process new hires and terminations; post changes in pay and tax status.

Position: Part-time Video Intern (temporary)







Reports to: Director of Marketing

Major Responsibilities:



• Responsible for recording and editing videos and taking photographs for the marketing department which is responsible for a wide range of functions.



• Video production:



Assist in coordinating videotaping events, which will include: college events, student/alumni testimonials, staff and faculty informational videos, and ad hoc video post-production projects for the college.



Handle all pre- and post-production to complete videos, including approval process (internal College approval and waivers from those appearing in the film).



Post video content on College website and College YouTube channel.



• Photography:



Attend College events, often evening and weekend, to take photographs using department camera
