Position:            Part-time Accountant (approximately 20 hours per week, flexible scheduling)

Major Responsibilities:

  • Perform monthly account analysis.
  • Prepares internal/external analysis and reports including contribution margin, cost to raise a dollar and Form 990.
  • Track and report on state, federal and private grants/contracts.
  • Assist in budget preparation and review.
  • Prepare month and year end journal entries.

 Major Responsibilities:

  • Perform final transcript checks on student files and follow-up with the student, if necessary.
  • Perform admissions evaluation file audits on newly admitted undergraduate and graduate students.

Major Responsibilities:

  • Assure expedient, accurate and positive counter, phone and email assistance while directing unanswered questions appropriately

Position:       Assistant Director, Admissions & Academic Advising

 Major Responsibilities:

  • Supervise selected academic advisors and records evaluator positions.
  • Train academic advisors in admissions and academic advising procedures. Update and maintain training materials.
  • Assist in coordinating the communication and training of academic program changes to academic advising staff and affected students.
  • Assist in development of admissions evaluation forms, student communication and related forms.  
  • Maintain and update community college transfer equivalencies guides.  Coordinate with recruiters and department chairs for currency of equivalencies.

Position: Accounts Payable Bookkeeper

Reports to: Director, Accounting/Controller

Major Responsibilities:
• Process accounts payable including receiving invoices and matching to purchase orders, verifying and obtaining approval of invoices.
• Process weekly check run/EFT, prepare documentation and report for review, mail checks, and scan voucher packages into imaging system.
• Field, research and follow up on vendor related matters, including account status, past due invoices, payments, and pending credits.
• Answer staff inquiries regarding invoices and expense vouchers.

Position: Part-time Video Intern (temporary)

Reports to: Director of Marketing

Major Responsibilities:
• Responsible for recording and editing videos and taking photographs for the marketing department which is responsible for a wide range of functions.
• Video production:
Assist in coordinating videotaping events, which will include: college events, student/alumni testimonials, staff and faculty informational videos, and ad hoc video post-production projects for the college.
Handle all pre- and post-production to complete videos, including approval process (internal College approval and waivers from those appearing in the film).
