Education is a powerful thing.  It can open a door, fulfill a dream, and change a life.  At Walsh, every day we witness the wonderful things an education can do.  And we're grateful to all of you who have so generously helped to give others the Power to Succeed.

At Walsh, many of our students are the first in their families to earn a college degree.  We see the pride and sense of achievement at Walsh graduations.  And we hear the touching stories of determiniation in the face of daunting challenges.  Students who must work all day and struggle to find time to study on evenings and weekends.

Clearly companies value this ambition.  Last year, 879 corporations recruited Walsh students.  Because they realize that our rigorous, real world education is something that is unique in this area.

What distinguishes Walsh from other schools is our faculty.  Men and women who spend their days in the boardroooms of the Midwest's best companies - and their evenings in the classrooms sharing their wisdom with Walsh students.  They're not just business teachers - they're business leaders.

As President of Walsh, I want to thank you for supporting our school this year.  For helping us to expand our Troy campus or provide a scholarship or mentor a student.  What a privilege it is for us to give the next generation the Power to Succeed in business - and in life.
