Undergraduate Procedures

An applicant must successfully complete, with a grade of "C" (2.000) or better, a minimum of 60 semester credit hours (90 quarter hours) of course work completed at the 100 level or above.  At least 30 semester credit hours (45 quarter hours) of the minimum 60 semester credit hours must be in liberal arts course work. The liberal arts course work must include one course English composition or written communication and one course in intermediate algebra or higher level mathematics course/placement.  Applicants to the Bachelor of Science in Information Technology degree will have additional admission requirements.  Courses must be completed with a minimum grade of a 2.000 on a 4.000 scale.  If you are a non-native English speaking candidate, you may need to provide proof of English language proficiency through documented TOEFL, MELAB, or MTELP scores.

To apply to an undergraduate degree program, you must:

  • Fill out an application form. Applications are available online or by calling 1-800-WALSH-01, or by visiting any campus location. A $25 application fee is required.
  • Attach all "student" or "unofficial" transcripts. Online applicants may fax transcripts to 248-823-1611.
  • Request official copies of all previous college transcripts to be sent to Walsh College

Any applicants who have completed course work or degrees from institutions outside of the United States must submit transcripts to an agency approved by Walsh College specializing in evaluation of international educational credentials. Applicants are responsible for all costs incurred. Walsh College recommends World Education Services or Educational Credential Evaluators.
