Mark your calendar to attend Walsh's spring fundraiser ~ the Walsh Wine Gala. The event will take place on Friday, May 4th at Andiamo's in Warren. Guests will enjoy wine tasting from private collections and local distributors; a delectable strolling dinner; martini bar; scotch-tasting and a decadent dessert table.
What began as a small wine tasting event held at the Novi campus in 2003, has now grown to one of Walsh's largest fundraisers. The 2011 event raised $120,000 bringing the cumulative total raised to $300,000 since inception.
"We have many loyal supporters of the Wine Gala that return each year and we are truly grateful to each one of them. Their continued support ensures that we are able to continue awarding valuable scholarships to our students," said Audrey Olmstead, Chief Development Officer.
