World Future Society Features Dr. Sheila Ronis

The World Future Society recently recognized Walsh professor and chair of management and communications Dr. Sheila Ronis for her contributions after she addressed the Society’s Washington D.C. chapter on January 17.  Dr. Ronis is part of a group of analysts who formulate recommendations for U.S. security strategy under a U.S. Congressional charter.  Part of her recommendations stem from her experiences in Singapore while completing a Fulbright Specialist Fellowship.

Dr. Ronis’ experiences are normal for Walsh faculty, as the majority of professors are active in the business fields in which they teach.  Dr. Mike Levens, Associate Professor of Marketing, also just completed a Fulbright Specialist Fellowship in Latvia, becoming the third such member of Walsh to do so.  During this time, Dr. Levens worked with the U.S. embassy in Latvia, spreading the influence of Walsh to all corners of the globe.
