Giving Thanks... for Tuesday

This week there is a good chance that you will be doing grocery shopping, preparing a large meal, and gathering with friends and family to celebrate Thanksgiving. The holiday is a good time to reflect on our blessings and think of those in need. You can make a quick, easy and positive impact on a fellow classmate who is in need of a little help. October... Oktober... Oktoberfest

As I am sure you probably heard by now, the evening of Friday, October 14, is Oktoberfest! It is held at the Troy campus from 6 to 9 p.m. Official event sponsors will feature food and beer from Shorts Brewery and Steelhouse Tavern. Wine, pop and food from a variety of local restaurants will also be available. New this year, we will be offering cider and donuts in the courtyard... weather permitting.

Fall Classes & Welcome Week

In August, I stopped at Target a few too many times. During each visit, I saw several mothers with their children purchasing school supplies. Crowds of mothers and children can really only mean one thing: it is Back to School time!
