A Special Training and Education Series hosted by the Troy Police Department, Walsh College, and Huffmaster Crisis Response.

An active shooter is defined as an individual actively engaged in killing or attempting to kill people in a confined and populated area. Active Shooter events appear on television and invade our workspace with all too great a frequency. We feel unsafe and uncertain everywhere we go, even at places we once presumed safe, such as church, school, the movies, or at the mall. If you are responsible for providing a safe workplace or venue, you will not want to miss this educational and informative presentation on the active shooter phenomenon.

This seminar is FREE.  Seating is limited.
Registration Required: www.walshcollege.edu/ASRseminar
A light continental breakfast will be provided, compliments of Huffmaster.

At the seminar, you will:

  • Learn how to identify and understand who the active shooter is
  • Learn how the Troy Police response has evolved and what to expect when officers arrive
  • Be provided with a plan for your personal response to an active shooter situation
  • Begin to develop an awareness and response strategy for your own workplace

Who Should Attend:

  • Human Resource Managers
  • Security Managers and Executives
  • Anyone grappling with the issue of workplace violence
