Brief Description
Kurt Godden has worked more than 25 years in the auto industry, beginning at General Motors Research. He currently works as a Senior Analytics Scientist for Ford Motor in the Global Data Insight and Analytics skill team. Dr. Godden has also held positions at Lockheed Martin's Advanced Technology Labs, Bank of America, a small startup, and began his career as a computer science faculty member at the Illinois Institute of Technology in Chicago. He has earned five degrees including an M.S. in Engineering Science from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute and a Ph.D. in Computational Linguistics from the University of Kansas. He has numerous publications and has been an invited speaker at both national and international conferences. He has been awarded three U.S. patents, two of them as the sole inventor.
