Thursday, September 07, 2017 - Walsh Colleges Offers CMA Exam Prep Course

Walsh College will offer a Certified Management Accountant (CMA®) exam preparation course beginning Sept. 28 at the Troy campus.

The course, which is offered weekly on Thursdays through Nov. 16, is designed to assist accounting students in preparing for the CMA exam.

The CMA designation is granted by the Institute of Management Accountants (IMA) and signifies a mastery of principles and practice for corporate accountants and corporate finance professionals.

The preparation course is offered in two parts. The first is an eight-week session that runs from 6 to 9 p.m. beginning Sept. 28 and costs $1,620.

 The cost of the prep course for Walsh students and alumni is $1,450.

Part two begins in winter 2018 and will run once a week for seven weeks; dates to be announced. The cost for part two is also $1,620.
