Walsh College

Monday, August 28, 2017 - Walsh College Announces Admission & Transfer Advising Day

Walsh College will host an Admission and Transfer Advising Day on Thursday, Sept. 7, from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. at the Troy campus. Academic advisors will be available to discuss transfer options from community colleges, and four-year colleges and universities.

At Walsh College, students can transfer up to 82 credits from community colleges and 91 credits from four-year institutions to complete their bachelor’s degree.

Admissions and academic advisors will be available for one-on-one appointments to discuss Walsh College’s accounting, business, and information technology undergraduate and graduate programs.

There is still time to apply and register for fall classes. The fall semester begins on Sept. 27.

At this event you can also:

  • Learn about Walsh’s new Master of Arts in Business degree, and the new Cybersecurity, Data Analytics, Data Science, and Global Project and Program Management concentrations.
  • Discuss financial aid, grants, and transfer scholarship options.
  • Tour the Troy campus.
  • Learn about career services, internships, and student organizations.
  • Have your $35 admission application waived and receive on-the-spot admission status. “This is a great opportunity for prospective students who want to learn more about Walsh programs and services,” said Angela Boesler, assistant director, recruitment, Walsh College.

“Walsh College is the only upper-division college in Michigan. We’ve been welcoming transfer students since 1970. We’re here to offer assistance to students who are looking to complete their bachelor’s or master’s degrees. We welcome all students, including the Marygrove students who now need to find a place to finish their bachelor’s degrees, to meet with an advisor and learn about our programs and seamless transfer opportunities.”
