Applauding Alumni

Michael Draska, BBA '92, MSF '95

As the owner of Draska Investments, Michael Draska is able to help people in all communities with a wide range of financial products and services.  His goal is to help take the mystery out of investing, help to manage risk and plan for retirement.  He has 20+ plus years of financial experience and is a registered FINRA Broker.

But that is not the only reason Draska is our applauding alumni!  From July 22 to July 24, there was a “Quake on the Lake”(http://www.quakeonthelake.org/) and Draska was at the heart of it all.  As the Vice-Chair of Operations Management and Volunteers, Draska made sure that the event was seamless and exciting for all ages.  As a Walsh College alumni and a former WCAA Board President, Michael invited alumni to join him on Pontiac Lake for a weekend of fun, food, and hydroplane racing.

PERSONAL NOTE FROM THE DIRECTOR (and event planner)

The summer is coming closer to an end. While this may mean many of us are working more and taking fewer vacations, it doesn't mean we shouldn't make the best of the last couple months of the season. It was that thought that led us to the decision of throwing our first family friendly bash at the Novi Campus. I completely understand that you may have spent more time on campus during your degree than you would have liked, but I promise this will be worth it. The food will be great, the games and music will be a blast, and the people you meet or even reconnect with may be relationships that last for years to come!
While this is titled as an alumni event, as a current student who has attended the Novi Campus I wanted to extend a personal invite your way. So, if you're ready for some fun, click here or on the invitation above to register for the event. Please let me know if you have any questions. We are looking forward to seeing you in a month! Best,
Jason A. Sweet l Director, Novi Campus
