  • Helen Bojarczyk, Ph.D.  has over 20 years of teaching experience in the corporate environment as well as within academia at the undergraduate and graduate levels. Her areas of concentration and expertise include courses within the Business Administration and Human Resources Management areas. As an associate professor with Walsh College, Dr. Bojarczyk has taught courses in leadership, organizational behavior, human resources management, and globalization. The combination of practical business knowledge and higher education experience provides the foundation for her teaching strategies.

    Prior to joining Walsh College in 2008, Dr. Bojarczyk held positions in the corporate world as well as in higher education. Her corporate world experience includes: banking, mortgage banking, healthcare human resource management, and property management. Within these fields, Dr. Bojarczyk had established and managed training departments devoted to the specifics of each industry.

    Within academia, Dr. Bojarczyk has taught classes ranging from undergraduate through the doctoral level. In addition, she has served as committee chair for several doctoral students successfully guiding them through the dissertation process.

    Dr. Bojarczyk received her Bachelor of Science degree in Management and Supervision from Central Michigan University, an Master of Arts degree in Education, with a concentration in Instruction, also from Central Michigan University, and a her doctorate in Education: Educational Leadership, Higher Education cognate, from Oakland University.

    Dr. Bojarczyk conducts seminars and workshops on interviewing techniques, human resource issues in the workplace, as well as effective teaching and learning strategies. She is a member of the national association Society for Human Resources (SHRM).
