The summit attracts more than 150 HR professionals annually. Structured for anyone whose professional HR role includes benefits, hiring, compensation, and personnel management. The summit provides important continuing education and training for HR professionals.

Dr. Lee Meadows | Adjunct Professor, Walsh College | Consultant, Speaker, Author
Lee E. Meadows, is an adjunct Professor of Management at Walsh College and a Consultant with over 30 years of experience working in, consulting for, writing about and presenting on Human Resource issues. He has a strong background in Human Resources and is on the forefront of identifying trends that will impact the profession.
As a Human Resource professional, his practical experiences include having worked at Michigan State University, General Motors, the Kellogg Foundation, EDS/A.T. Kearney, Consulting Services, and Con-Way Transportation Services.
His consulting experiences include having worked with, the City of Detroit, the Detroit Medical Center, Flagstar Bank, BOSCH international, The ORLANS Group, The Neighborhood Service Organization, OHM Advisors, Chrysler, the Ford Assembly Plant in Atlanta, Honor Community Health, Kawasaki Robotics, and several others.
He is currently the President of the State of Michigan Chapter of the National Association of African Americans in Human Resources.
Co-founder and co-leader of the Walsh College Annual Human Resources Summit, HR Analytics Day, HR Leaders on Leaders Conference, HR Unite Conference and is the President of the State of Michigan Chapter of the National Association of African Americans in Human Resources (NAAAHR).
He has presented sessions at Michigan HR Day, MISHRM, HR Unite, The Minnesota Chapter of SHRM conference, and the Detroit Administrative HR Day.
He publishes monthly articles on his LinkedIn page and remains active in designing, developing, and delivering leadership DE&I and HR curriculums for both profit and non-profit organizations.

Dr. Kurt Godden | Adjunct Professor at Walsh College
Kurt Godden received a Ph.D. from the University of Kansas and has always worked in the field of Artificial Intelligence (AI). He began his career as a computer science faculty member at the Illinois Institute of Technology in Chicago. He has also worked at General Motors Research, Ford Motor’s AI Advancement Center, Lockheed Martin’s Advanced Technology Labs, Bank of America’s Managed Contact Center Applications, as well as a small Ann Arbor startup. In 2022 Kurt retired from full-time employment, and has been teaching data science and machine learning at Walsh College since 2018 as an Adjunct Associate Professor. He is currently working on a book with the tentative title, “Chess Analytics: a Case Study in Data Science”. In 2012 he founded a hiking club in Southern California called the PM Hikers (because God made mornings for sleeping in) , which is still quite active and has over 4,300 members.
Christian Allen | Principal Attorney and Founder | AMS Global Immigration, PC
Chris Allen is a seasoned Immigration Attorney and the founder/owner of AMS Global Immigration, PC. Chris has more than 30 years of experience assisting companies and individuals with all aspects of the U.S. immigration and corporate compliance process. He is a former Adjunct Professor at Oakland University, teaching Immigration Law for the Legal Assistant Program for more than a dozen years, and is a frequent presenter on the topic to business and HR groups. He has been consistently named to the Best Lawyers in America, Super Lawyers, Elite Lawyers, and dBusiness Top Lawyers lists since the early-2000s, in recognition of expertise in immigration law. Chris is a long-time Board member of the Detroit chapter of SHRM, and the most recent prior Treasurer for the Michigan Council of SHRM. He is also active in numerous other HR and Global Mobility organizations and groups across the Midwest.
Christine Sielicki | Global Mobility – Tax Manager | Plante Moran
I’m a manager within the Global Mobility team. I have over 15 years of experience in personal taxation and have spent the last 10 years specializing in Global Mobility. I assist clients during the entire life cycle of a foreign assignment. I deal with employer and employee compliance in relation to both inbound and outbound international employment. I have significant experience managing tax return programs, international payrolls, analysis of overseas benefits, advising on residence and domicile matters and providing consulting advice, both pre- and post-assignment.
I hold a B.A. in economics from Bucknell University and an M.B.A. from Wayne State University.
Outside of work, my husband and I are adjusting to the life of empty nesters and love the flexibility that life currently allows.
Fun fact: I met my husband of almost 30 years on a blind date for a corporate event at the Plaza in New York City.
Jennifer Baranski | Global Mobility Consultant | Relocation America International, Inc.
Jennifer executes and manages the delivery of mobility services to Relocation America International’s extensive client portfolio. Jennifer possesses more than 16 years of domestic and global mobility experience in the management of high-volume corporate clients.
She earned a Master of Science in Management from Walsh College and a Bachelor of Arts in English with a minor in Spanish from Wayne State University. She has also lived in Spain and traveled extensively throughout Europe.
Moses Lee | CEO | Michigan Language Center
Moses has spent the past two decades helping thousands of students – from high schoolers to working professionals. Currently, he leads the Michigan Language Center, a 45+ year accredited English language center working to empower international students and employees to reach their educational and professional goals through language. He is also an Innovator-in-Residence and faculty member at the University of Michigan. In 2011, Moses co-founded Seelio, an education technology company that partners with universities to help prepare students for meaningful careers. The company was acquired by Keypath Education, a global education company. Moses is a graduate of the Ross School of Business.
