Walsh Foundation Appoints Vicki Kamenova to Board

The Walsh Foundation announces the appointment of Vicki E. Kamenova, Partner/Principal in Ernst & Young’s cybersecurity practice, to its Board of Directors. Kamenova is a double Walsh alumna, earning her bachelor of business administration in computer information systems in 2004 and a master of science in information assurance in 2010.

Born and raised in Bulgaria, Kamenova immigrated to the United States in 1999 and is considered a leader in her field. She is a strong advocate for engaging women in the information technology field and encouraging them to explore and pursue STEM career opportunities. She also volunteers with the Walsh’s mentor program and was recently named a Distinguished Graduate of the Last Decade.

“We are pleased to welcome Ms. Kamenova to the Walsh Foundation Board of Directors,” said Susan Foley, Vice President and Chief Advancement Officer at Walsh. “She is a trailblazer in her field and an engaged member of our alumni network. We look forward to her input as we continue transforming lives through education.”

The Walsh Foundation Board fosters private and public philanthropic support for strategic educational initiatives at Walsh while ensuring the integrity of the philanthropy program. It is staffed by Walsh employees and led by volunteers who are business, community and industry leaders.
