Who is eligible to obtain a student ID card?

Students who are currently enrolled.

How are photos submitted?

Photos can be submitted via the Portal, using the “Student ID Card Photo Submission Form” located under the Forms section.

My card has expired or was lost.  How do I get a new ID card?

If you already have a photo on file, please contact records@walshcollege.edu and a new card can be issued. If you need to submit a photo, please complete the “Student ID Card Photo Submission Form” located on the Portal, under the Forms section.

I had my photo taken a few years ago.  Can it be reissued using a photo on file?

If we have your photo on file, we can use it to reissue a student ID card. 

How and when will I receive my student ID card?

Student ID cards will be processed once a month and will be mailed to the address on file.

What are the photo requirements?

All photos are subject to approval and may be rejected if they do not meet the noted specifications. Photos submitted are strictly used for the sole purpose of Walsh Student ID cards.

  • Use a photo similar to a driver’s license or passport photo.
  • Use a recent color photo with good lighting in JPG format.
  • Use a plain, solid background.
  • Make sure photo is centered and include the front view of the full face.
  • Make sure eyes are open and visible.
  • Crop the photo into a square just above the head to the top of your shoulders.
  • Don’t:
  • Use images that are over or underexposed.
  • Use a selfie or photo filters.
  • Include other people or objects.
  • Wear a hat or other items that will distort your face.
