We urge all students to contact the U.S. Department of Veteran Affairs at 1-888-442-4551 before you withdraw from a course to determine the impact it will have on allowances, book stipend, and tuition & fees.
Withdrawing from a course results in a “W” grade on your transcript, and the tuition and fees are owed to Walsh.
You may submit mitigating circumstances to a Walsh SCO and VA. Mitigating circumstances are circumstances beyond the student's control that prevent the student from continuing in school or cause the student to reduce credits (ex: illness or death in immediate family, unavoidable change in conditions of employment, etc.).
VA will contact you regarding mitigating circumstances once Walsh reports your withdrawal.
