The International Assembly for Collegiate Business Education (IACBE) has granted Walsh College specialized accreditation for the following degree programs:

Bachelor of Accountancy

Bachelor of Business Administration
     Accounting Processes
     Finance
     General Business

     Marketing

Bachelor of Science in Business Information Technology

Master of Business Administration

Master of Science degrees in:
     Accountancy
     Information Systems
     Finance
     Information Assurance
     International Business
     Strategic Leadership
     Taxation

The IACBE is a professional accreditation body for student-centered colleges and universities in the United States and throughout the world. Benefits of specialized IACBE accreditation include:

IACBE Student FAQs

Accreditation draws new faculty and additional grant monies. Many corporations will only provide employee reimbursement for those attending accredited business schools.

The accreditation process took two and a half years and involved a comprehensive self study and campus site visit in May. The site visit team and IACBE commissioners expressed positive commendations for:

  • Walsh facilities, especially the Jeffery W. Barry Center Library
  • Educational technology and support
  • High-quality learning resources
  • The branch campus
  • Quality of the Board of Trustees
  • Business and industry linkages 

The Doctor of Management in Executive Leadership (DMEL) program is accredited through The Higher Learning Commission of the North Central Association of Colleges and Schools (NCA).
