Who is eligible to use Career Services? 
Fully enrolled, for-credit Walsh College students and degreed Walsh alumni are eligible to participate. Any student who has been academically dismissed from Walsh College is ineligible to utilize career services until reinstated by the College.

How do I obtain job search assistance?
Login to eRecruiting through the
Portal, create your profile and search for professional positions and internships. Upload your job search documents and publish your resume to a resume book that is searchable by employers. Thousand of professional positions are posted in the database, providing a broad range of opportunities from internships and entry-level through executive-level positions. The database allows active job seekers to apply directly to open positions.

Where are the job listings located?
Job opportunities received from employers are posted in eRecruiting, available online in the career services
Portal. eRecruiting offers quick and easy access to many professional and internship opportunities. Please note that all positions are accepted for posting. Career services does not endorse or screen any job listing. However, any concerns about a particular job posting should be reported to Career Services. More than 2000 positions are posted annually with the career center. eRecruiting provides students and alumni with thousands of opportunities and links to career center jobs, HotJobs, CareerBuilder and Dice.

Where is campus recruiting held?
Employers interview upcoming graduates for professional positions through campus recruiting held during February and March for winter on-campus recruiting, and October and November for fall on-campus recruiting. The dates for the sessions are posted on the Career Services Portal. Inquire about participating three semesters before graduation. For details on on-campus recruiting registration, go to the Career Services
Portal and click on Sign Up for Interviews On-Campus.

What type of special events and workshops are offered? 
Career services provides special events such as practice interviews, company sponsored practice interviews, career fairs, and company presentations. These events are announced through seasonal calendars of special events, special flyers, the career services
Portal, and eRecruiting. The Troy campus career fair is in September and the Novi campus career fair is in May.

How can I get individual job search assistance?
Appointments for resume preparation, job search techniques, practice interviews, and general career advice are available. It is recommended that students make an initial appointment as early as possible upon enrollment at Walsh.
