Walsh College

Giving

Walsh means business-- for students, employers, and communities in Southeastern Michigan.

Eighty-one percent of Walsh graduates remain in the region once they have completed their education, growing their businesses, careers, and families.

As an independent, nonprofit institution, we bolster the Southeastern Michigan economy with affordable business-and technology-related degree programs that are responsive to local needs. Private dollars help us achieve our goals.

As a private not for proft instiution, every gift, no matter the size, can have an impact. For instance, the average scholarship offered to students is $1,000 to $1,500, so every gift has a chance to make an impact!

There are a number of areas you can support that will make a big difference to Walsh College students:

Annual Fund: Tuition alone can not cover all the costs of running Walsh College. Annual Fund support gives Walsh the means to deal with the daily, sometimes extraordinary, costs of running a College, such as technology upgrades and general scholarship support.

  • The President’s Club annual giving society is for individuals who wish to make meaningful change through annual giving.

Scholarships: Named annual and endowed scholarships support student achievement, and help make higher education possible for talented and deserving students. View some scholarship stories to learn about the impact your gift can make.

Major Gifts: Major gifts help make major improvements to the school and to the lives of our students. Contact a Major Gifts Officer for more information on how you can make a lasting impact at Walsh College.

Planned Giving: A practical way to make significant gifts to Walsh College may be through your estate plan. Contact Stanley Simek for more information about making a planned gift to Walsh College.

The Michigan Alpha Project (MAP), provides students real-world investment and business experience while investing in Michigan equities. Click here to give.

Other: Special programs and offers, like purchasing a commemorative brick, special events, and the Corporate Partners Program.

A Walsh College education is an investment in the future. Your gift ensures that future for the next generation of successful business professionals and leaders.
